CIL Market Bridge started as a question:
What if businesses could explore blockchain opportunities without needing to understand blockchain first?
Today, that question is a functional beta app.
Still early. Still imperfect. But real.
As a solo non-technical builder, getting here has been part product work, part communication work, part stubbornness, and part “please let this deploy.” 😅
Next: demo.
Built through @gimbalabs Piece of Pie.

I joined Piece of Pie without being a developer.
Twelve weeks later, CIL Market Bridge has a working beta, a final demo, a payment flow, real user testing, and a purpose that feels much clearer than when I started. 🚀
I did not build this because I knew exactly what I was doing.
I built it because I had a question:
what if blockchain was explained from the business problem first, instead of from the technology first?
So I started there.
As a journalist and communicator, I walked into a very technical room with more questions than certainty, zero Silicon Valley glamour, and a concerning amount of stubbornness. 🫠
There were bugs. 🐛
There were terrible screenshots.
There were payments that decided to develop a personality of their own. 💸
There were forms, repositories, commits, exhaustion, and several moments of “who told me to get into this when I was a relatively functional person?” 😅
There was also a video that had to be rescued with dignity, faith, and probably too many open tabs. 🧿
But there was real learning.
CIL Market Bridge does not try to sell blockchain as a magical answer. ✨
It helps people pause, look at the problem, and ask whether blockchain actually deserves to be explored.
Because sometimes it might.
And sometimes what comes first is clarity, coordination, better records, a better commercial path, or a much simpler solution.
Turns out, questions are also a pretty good place to start. 🧭
Welcome to the experiment. 🥧

WEEK 12
I joined Piece of Pie without being a developer.
I joined because I saw a problem: blockchain is often explained from the technical side first, while businesses usually start with something much more practical — a concern, a bottleneck, a trust issue, or a coordination problem.
That is why I built CIL Market Bridge.
It is now a working beta with:
Free Case Map
Combination-based result logic
Paid Beta Opportunity Path
Gumroad checkout
Tally request form
Real user testing
Human-reviewed case exploration
The app does not tell users: “you need blockchain.”
It helps them understand whether blockchain deserves to be explored at all.

🚀 Weeks 10–11 update: CIL Market Bridge now has a complete payment flow.
We integrated PayPal checkout, server-side order creation and payment capture, secure configuration in Vercel, and a clearer path from the landing page to the app.
The journey is now:
Landing → Free Case Map → Beta Opportunity Path → PayPal → deeper review request
We also improved the landing page message and CTA so users understand what they will receive before entering the app.
The payment flow has already been successfully tested in Sandbox.
Next: controlled user testing and the final product demo for Week 12.

A blockchain ecosystem can have strong technology and still struggle to explain itself.
That gap is not minor.
It affects adoption, trust, partnerships, funding, and the ability to reach people outside the usual circle.
At Cardano Insight Lab, we look at that gap closely:
What is being built?
Who is it really for?
What problem does it solve?
And can anyone outside Cardano understand the answer?
Good technology deserves better communication.

Cardano does not need another account repeating that everything is historic, disruptive, and revolutionary.
It needs context.
It needs uncomfortable questions.
It needs clearer explanations of what is being built, who it is for, and how far it still is from working beyond the ecosystem.
That is Cardano Insight Lab.
A space to look at Cardano, governance, adoption, infrastructure, and real-world use cases with less ceremony and more judgment.
