@MikeMumbelz@pcgamer This same argument can be used by larger companies to use AI since every other large company is doing the same. They need to stay competitive and relevant.
It wasn't okay for Indie Developers to steal and plagiarize in the past, and it isn't okay now. AI is plagiarism, theft.
@Jack_Luminous Those experiences sound like they are multi-player oriented or in the realm of the survival genre. A lot of those hours are spent slowly improving or crafting/building. My most meaningful gaming experiences were when good gameplay met a great narrative. Anywhere from 20 to 60 hrs
@tyrantresister@MadelaineLucyH Y'all are so insufferable. Would you reject a smokeshow of a woman who can pay your bills and make your night? Would you?
It needed to be more character-focused and less sandbox-y for me to have been truly enamored with it but I also understand not everyone is into that. Just my experience :)
I tried twice but cannot finish act 2.
The game is great, don't get me wrong. It's a huge game so not getting to act 3 isn't a big slight.
I think the game suffers from having too many companions. There's too much dialogue spread thin for it to be a truly great game imo.
It's a great game! Just I don't share some people's opinion on it being something really special. It's special in ways, yes, like how popular it got and how big budget it is for the genre it inhabits.
@binchellada2 @hausofdecline Instead of leaving her job she copes with suicidal fantasies, which gives her mild relief. People around her want her to be more "productive" instead of addressing the source of her pain. The CEO wants others to use the same coping mechanism to continue working. My 2 cents.
@timshel_11 I think a lot of readers can more easily appreciate it because this is not the ideal first experience you all had. That already happened when you were reading it. This is like a ribbon finish or dessert. That's not how it went for me, though.
@timshel_11 It felt like a compilation more than a show. Don't get me wrong, I didn't go expecting it to be. I appreciated it as much as I could, but I really wish I had mustered the energy to read the manga before watching this. It just made me want to read it :(
