“Coaches notoriously poor at describing their own behaviour (low self-awareness)”. It’s an 80:20 rule with the 80% not recognising their own behaviour.
However, speak to the players and it flips; 80% of them could describe the coach behaviour.
Therefore, ask your players!
As adults/coaches/clubs we should ONLY measure ‘our’ success in youth sport by the number of kids returning the next week/season. Not simply by measuring performance or results.
