Crazy to hear this news after only speaking to him the other week.

He was a true footballing gent, we spoke after the game in length, laughing and joking and talking bout his experiences of the higher levels.

This ones hit me a little, even though I only met him once.

Happy to say that I’ve been promoted to level 4, allowing me to officiate at step 4/5.

However I’ve got to say I’ll miss the @wmrfl I’ve been in and around since 16 and always enjoyed it, mangers are football people and people you can talk to. Great place for young refs to be

Scared to referee on the WMRL this year with the amount of post match referee analysis is going on, worse then the premier league. At least give the referee the VEO before outing them 😂

@Jacob__JOW Aye like I said could have took easy route in that incident, yellow card for them wasting time & also a second yellow for your number 8 who came from distance, shouting and tauntingthere players 🤷🏻‍♂️ swings and roundabouts.

Not the most enjoyable game, but a good workout.
