I first met Rob through my housing advocacy work with @MoreNeighbours, when he was serving as chief of staff to then-Deputy Mayor Ana Bailão.

What always stood out to me was that he understood the housing crisis not as an abstract policy file, but as something our generation has lived through personally and watched affect our friends, families, and communities. Rob showed up because he genuinely cared about what it was doing to young people and to the future of this province.

Over the course of this race, I have also come to admire his passion for education and his commitment to generational change. I am not surprised that so many young Liberals found a home on Team Rob.

Rob, the Ontario Liberal caucus is lucky to have you. And regardless of what happens in this race, a future Ontario Liberal government will be lucky to have your voice at the table too.

NEW: we’re learning more about the cost of “Protect Ontario” ads to taxpayers.

FOI records show the cost for just one ministry to produce & run them last year was nearly $10 million.

The total the Ford government has spent across all ministries is expected to be much higher.
