@keithgroover@Fenian1978@reaghanhunt@D0GGEAUX Sounds you're like a democratic socialist that hasn't yet figured out you are one yet. You'll get there. Many started out as libertarians. Good for you, and I mean it. The 2nd half of your 1st sentence kinda excludes you from libertarianism and is one of DemSo's basic principles.
@keithgroover@Fenian1978@reaghanhunt@D0GGEAUX So, an idealist that doesn't understand that your philosophy would lead to a mad-max, Ferengi death cult plutocracy. It's alright, I identified as libertarian for most of my 20s until I realized what a true libertarian policy actually means. You sir, are an anarcho-capitalist.
@keithgroover@Fenian1978@reaghanhunt@D0GGEAUX Republicans and democrats are big government deficit spenders. Libertarians are generally small government, but are either idealists who don't understand that their philosophy leads to a Ferengi death fantasy or people with money who actively want that fantasy.End conversation.
@keithgroover@Fenian1978@reaghanhunt@D0GGEAUX I don't see why the two have to be mutually exclusive, you're the one framing it like they are. Neither are small government, and libertarians are failed republicans.
This is my grandfather, Murray Goldfinger. The tattoo, 161108, was given to him at Birkenau.
He's 91 and his health is failing. He told his tale of survival for 65 years. Now, I've taken the responsibility.
One part of his story always gets a big reaction from students.
"Anthony Bourdain seems like the kind of guy who would be mean to a dog" "Fieri would be throwing live grenades back at them screaming 'welcome to flavortown.'" I don't know why those lines have me practically crying, but they do, even though I've seen it like 5 times.
@shanetorres Dude, I just watched your Guy Fieri routine AGAIN and it still just kills me. It's not the jokes, it's all in your delivery. After the same routine cracking me up way more times then makes sense, I thought I'd @ you.
