AD&D MONSTER MANUAL DRAWING CHALLENGE

I will try this little game as a way to practice chara design and illustration. The MM has a striking iconography and very interesting monsters, and I hope to have drawn as much inspiration as possible by the end of it.

The oversaturation of "sex sells" from 90's into the 00's created a large subset of millennials that swung hard in the opposite direction, believing that any shred of sexual attractiveness would be committing the perceived sins of the old times.

These are people who grew up in a time when virtually every video game had comical jiggle physics; you were inundated with Girls Gone Wild commercials if you stayed up late enough; MTV was teetering on softcore porn at any given moment; the most popular show on network TV for years was "big breasted lifeguards run on the beach in slow motion;" they were using tits to advertise fast food and web hosting; etc. etc. etc.

When publishers started releasing stuff like BMX XXX, a lot of millennials started wondering if things had gone too far, making them prime targets to be shamed by homely women who'd been waiting for this moment all their lives.

Standards were very lax back then, and many people overindulged. Now they've become the sex appeal equivalent of the former drug addict who overcompensates with their new religion.

@wastelandJD It's why I stopped giving them any consideration. Not that I'm the chastest guy on Earth, but it's clear that with the same words I refer to way milder things than they do. Even attraction is a much darker force in their minds and, I guess, life.

I saw an interesting email in Sean Malstrom's blog which theorized companies trying to completely exhaust the activist movement so that it can be declared a total failure and shut down forever. A bit too optimistic imo but it's an interesting idea.

Can I offer a VERY niche opinion?
While I admire Gaudi's stamina and vision, I don't particularly like the Sagrada Familia, and even less now that I have seen the inside in videos.
Mostly because it doesn't really foster devotion in me.

@InfinityArk A lot of complaints probably come from social media accounts that want to farm engagement. The gaming scene at the moment is fertile soil for outrage marketing (compare with everyone talking about Mixtape 2 weeks ago and never a word about a game they like).
