@MaritimeHorrors I never realized how much just a little bit of hope and competence I need to see in the current day. It feels so good to see intelligent people doing their jobs correctly and using modern human technology that actually helps people. It's a beautiful thing 💙

Ship gets a new rescue boat with a single point davit, captain says he has no idea how to launch it. I tell him I've got experience and I'll write up a temporary launch procedure. The captain loves it, and sends it to the company safety guy who forwards it to every ship in the fleet.
Captain can't access the new work monitoring program and is struggling with new email set up. Asks me to take a look at it, I help get it set up and help others on the boat too. They use this info to help the other ships in the fleet.

We are deeply saddened to hear the news of William C. Dietz's passing.
In 2003, Dietz authored Halo: The Flood where fans experienced his expanded portrayal of Halo: CE's story through new characters and perspectives.
Our thoughts are with his family. Rest in peace, William.
@MaritimeHorrors I appreciate you so much and I love getting to work with you on your projects! I learn more about boats every day (more than I ever thought I would have!) 😄
