Bravery is the belief that there is nothing to fear. It’s nice, but in times like now that mentality can be a bit simplistic and unworldly. It can lead to denial & make us think we’re immune to #coronavirus in some way. We make risky decisions because bravery is naive at times.
The virus is contagious. The fear it brings with it is contagious. Courage is contagious too. But it has to start somewhere. We can’t change everything but we can change ourselves. I’m willing to pull myself together and be courageous for Team Humanity. What about you?
For all the teachers I have heard upset about how the education we are about to deliver is inequitable for our students, it always was. It was never equitable. But you did the best you could in your circumstances. In that regard, nothing has changed.
