[SparkLoop @SparkLoopHQ]

🚨🚨🚨 FREE NEWSLETTER TOOL DROP 🚨🚨🚨

Today we're launching Upscribe: the ultimate newsletter recommendation tool & network.

This is how you EXPLODE your newsletter audience growth *and* revenue in 2023. With zero work.

Here are the details 👇

[Kim Nunley @kimnunley]

People have started writing me back through The Post-Up Club, and it's been awesome.

I hope these letters help women's basketball fans feel a little more connected.

A clip from my chat with @lazukars on @SparkLoopHQ's Send & Grow podcast.

[Letterland LIVE @LetterlandLIVE]

“AI is giving independent creators more power.”

@lazukars of @SparkLoopHQ has run @TheFryAI, a daily newsletter, for about four years and calls AI the biggest shift in the space.

You no longer need a big team to compete with the big players.

No more excuses Letterlanders.

This is exactly why we went all in on building out our new signup flow tool at @SparkLoopHQ.

Here’s a 60min masterclass breaking down the very best newsletter signup flows and teaching you exactly how to build your own… https://t.co/8XQ90HnNeF

Acquisition costs are about to spike in Q4. What do you do about it?

@louisnicholls_ take: monetize new subscribers faster.

If you can earn back an extra 20–30% right away, you offset the higher costs and keep growing when everyone else pulls back.

How?

- Paid recommendations (@SparkLoopHQ , obviously 😉)
- Selling your own product
- Brand deals for welcome offers and CPL/CPA

Then reinvest it all in the golden quarter...

[Kim Nunley @kimnunley]

When I was a kid, I wrote letters to my favorite WBB players and coaches. Some of them actually wrote back.

Funny that now I’m the one sending women’s basketball mail to people.

A little clip from my convo with @lazukars on @SparkLoopHQ’s Send & Grow.

[Hunter Kallay @lazukars]

That feeling when you’re not currently running a formal growth campaign yet you still randomly get to buy 50,000 paperclips on a Thursday.

Thanks @SparkLoopHQ

[Kim Nunley @kimnunley]

I got to talk about building @30SecTime + The Post-Up Club with @lazukars on @SparkLoopHQ's Send & Grow podcast!

We talked about women’s basketball, building an audience, and why I decided to start sending people actual mail in an increasingly digital world.

Why do some newsletters earn way more from sponsorships than others?

I broke down the 2 questions brands ask (and that you need to be able to answer)... https://t.co/jjvkuFI1af

My buddy @mannyyreyyes is a newsletter growth expert.

He just spent a bunch of money on Meta Ads to grow his awesome Growth Levers newsletter (go sign up, link in comments).

The goal: drive qualified leads to fill out his welcome survey.

But he accidentally made one *super common* mistake that cost him HALF of his potential survey responses. 😱

That mistake?

... not showing a paid recommendations widget before his welcome survey.

Here's how it cost him hundreds of leads (and likely $100k+ in agency revenue) 👇

These are the people who send THE best emails about how to build a newsletter business:

• @LetterlandLIVE by @JPMorinChase & @louisnicholls_ is definitely my favorite.

• @JMatthewMcGarry is like that college senior that helps you navigate through your freshman year. So grateful to you.

• @_May_Ham is literally the moneymaker. I wish I had a service business lol.

• @danoshinsky sends some really actionable stuff, love reading and implementing it.

• @chenellco I think you should send much much more emails than you do, I really look forward to read yours.

Who else should I follow/subscribe to?

[Louis Nicholls 💫 @louisnicholls_]

We're working on a totally new way to acquire "high ROI" newsletter subscribers at SparkLoop.

Gave one operator a sneak peek last week (he spends $250k+/month on Meta).

His response: "Holy sh*t... if this works like I think it will I'm moving as much budget off meta as I can!"

[Louis Nicholls 💫 @louisnicholls_]

If you use Meta ads to grow your newsletter, your subscribers are going to discover other newsletters.

You can't stop that from happening.

But you do get to choose who profits when it does.

Here's what smart newsletter operators are doing about it 👇 https://t.co/D1bNwdSSae

@_May_Ham The offer wall idea is so smart!

Marco Fazio literally just built the @latestlyAI newsletter to 200k subs/$1M+ run rate in 18 months (and got acquired) by doing this with @SparkLoopHQ's signup flow tool 🔥

[Louis Nicholls 💫 @louisnicholls_]

Got a newsletter and create content on instagram? Then you NEED to steal this Manychat automation from Jay Shetty...

I bet it's adding 1000+ newsletter subscribers *per day* for FREE. And maybe $100-500k/year in revenue?

Wild.

[Nathan Barry @nathanbarry]

We just made paid ads for newsletter susbcribers far more effective.

Here's how:

Let's say you are paying $2 per subscriber on Meta or @SparkLoopHQ (keep in mind on SL you only pay for engaged subs). Then with your funnel you know you can make that back through paid products.

But here's the problem: your funnel treats every subscriber the same.

With @Kit Signals you can be alerted for anyone who is influential (based on follower count) or who matches your ICP (based on their job description, income, social bio, etc).

That means you can pan for gold and pluck these people out for bespoke outreach or partnerships.

Executive coaches can be notified every time a CEO with 5,000+ followers subscribes.

Authors can be notified when a podcaster subscribes to reach out about a guest appearance.

Agency owners can be notified when a marketing manager joins.

Email has always had an insane ROI and we just made it so much more effective.

[Louis Nicholls 💫 @louisnicholls_]

Testing something huge with a few top newsletters at SparkLoop.

Can't say more publicly yet.

But DM me if you spend $50k+/month on meta. This is for you 👀

[Manuel Frigerio @manuel_frigerio]

yay, the @SparkLoopHQ podcast is back!
