The Gemini app is now on Mac.
With this new desktop app, you can access Gemini from any screen with Option + Space and share your window to get answers based on the documents, code, or data you're working on.
@vibeonX69 Not at all. If you game and move around a gaming laptop still makes perfect sense. A desktop is more powerful but you can not take it with you. Depends on how you use it.
@TTrimoreau Focus on the feedback loop:
βThe speed of the cycle. It isn't about being right the first time; it's about how fast the data from a failure is turned into a better version of the product.
@googlechrome Stop typing the same prompt every day. Save it once and use it whenever you need it. This is the kind of feature that actually changes how you use your browser.
Today, weβre introducing Skills in @GoogleChrome, a new way to build one-click workflows for your most frequently used AI prompts β like asking for ingredient substitutions to make a recipe vegan, generating side-by-side shopping comparisons across multiple tabs, or scanning long docs to get the info you need quickly.
When you write a prompt that you want to use again, you can save it as a Skill directly from your chat history. The next time you need it, select your saved Skill in Gemini in Chrome by typing forward slash ( / ) or clicking the plus sign ( + ) button, and your Skill will run on the page youβre viewing, along with any other tabs you select.
