Seven members of Arizona State University’s men’s hockey team submitted a 26-page report to ASU President Michael Crow telling him that safety policies were ignored during the Aug. 20 outdoor workout where teammate Matthew Mayich collapsed from heat illness.

Tim Casey, the Phoenix attorney representing the players, told @OutspokenKTAR his clients want an independent investigation into the incident and to ensure that something similar doesn't happen to them or those who come after them.
