God fucking damn it, as much as I don’t like some of the 343i stuff, erasing EVERYTHING (including Bungie era) and starting fresh is a bad move and we know it is (Did we so quickly forget the Halo Show???)
Infinite gave them the perfect jumping off point being a soft reboot of everything up to that point.
@InfoXbox_ Dude, a halo multiplayer with Sledgehammer at the helm could be insane! Especially if it gets the same level of post launch support that MWIII 2023 did
I LOVE HALO!
I LOVE COMBAT EVOLVED!
I LOVE HALO 2!
I LOVE HALO 3 ODST!
I LOVE HALO REACH!
I LOVE HALO 4!
I LOVE HALO INFINITE!
I LOVE CAMPAIGN EVOLVED!
So, I’ve given Halo Campaign Evolved 7.5 hours of my time and finished the story on Normal.
I loved my time with the remake and can’t wait to attempt the LASO mode after I’m done working on my next review.
Only gripe I really had was the usual suspect, Unreal Engine 5 is an unoptimised mess of a game engine and a fickle bitch to configure the settings for to make it run well, I’m hopeful they could eventually release a patch that fixes performance issues but knowing UE5 and its over reliance on DLSS, it’s unlikely to improve.
Other than that the visuals are great, the gameplay changes are decent and don’t ruin the original CE, the prequel missions were a nice addition and have good character moments between chief and Johnson, and the flood still haunts my nightmares. 8.5/10
@Xotic16 A good mixture of baked lighting and purposeful stylisation choices mixed with the dev team actually giving a shit about what they were making (mostly)
My countries government is a fucking joke, what do you mean a game you already have to be over 18 to buy needs to verify my age. Given rockstar’s history with hackers and data breaches I’m not trusting them with data this critical.
Australian GTA Online players Starting tomorrow will need to verify that you are 18 or older to play the online mode.
This is due to new R18+ rules enforced by the eSafety Commissioner.
Rockstar already has the age verification system prepared. You will likely see options such as:
- uploading government-issued photo ID
- facial age estimation (via selfie or video)
- credit card verification
The requirement applies only to online multiplayer (GTA Online), not to single-player mode.
If Rockstar does not comply, the company could face fines of up to AU$49.5 million per breach.

@EdwardSabaVO If it adds a similar amount of tracks as the OG Wii U Mario Kart 8 DLC packs did, I would expect something around $15 to $25 with the possibility of it being around $30 to $40 depending on what they do with it/how big of an expansion it is.
@AnAverageGamerX Being able to play my already huge steam library and my Nintendo library from the comfort of my lounge room is what dreams are made of
