The Hobbit films are regarded as being way inferior to LOTR. However, if we wash away some of the bloat and meaningless side stories. There is a beautiful relationship between the friends of Bilbo and Thorin revealed through their dialogue toward each other. #collinscreenwriting

Disney's "Big Hero 6" has some fantastic montage scenes. When Hiro is puting together the team, there are a lot of quick cuts between the members and Fall Out Boy playing in the background. Due to the editing style the scene is probably the best in the whole movie.#collinediting

Disney's "Treasure Planet" has some fantastic writing. The antagonist/ mentor relationship between Captain Silver and Jim is truly heartfelt and Phenomenal. Resulting in one of the best Chemistries between two characters ever put on the silver screen. #collinscreenwriting

Many believe video game movies can never work. I however think that it could under the right conditions. Do i think that a video game movie will ever be better than the game. Its highly unlikely. No matter how good it is we will want to play the game while watching.#collinediting

Having a good script is one thing but, having talented actors is the icing on the cake. For Instance, in the classic "CaddyShack", Bill Murray (the groundskeeper) didn't have a single line in the script. Everything he says is completely improvised. #collinscreenwriting

A scene that has always should out to me in the action adventure film "The Adventures on Tintin" is the final chase scene. It's so chaotic and fast past yet looks like one very long shot. It is actually many shots but, through some in genius editing feels like one. #collinediting

The 2005 "King Kong" directed by peter Jackson, to me is perhaps the greatest Monster movie ever made. When Kong shows up you know things are about to go down. Incredible weight and tension given to the fight scenes in this film are just unreal. #collinediting

Tron: Legacy is an extremely underrated Film. It has Incredible Visuals a beautiful color design due to the amazing editing work done on it. Plus a great soundtrack, along with a heartfelt story about a Father Son relationship and the nature of perfection. #collinediting

A great example of editing is the shower scene in Pycho. Unable to show someone getting stabbed or a naked women. Hitchcock had to think outside of the box and use clever filming and editing techniques. Splicing together over 90 shots to make a 40 second scene. #collinediting

A piece of dialougue I have always loved is from "Back to the Future". When the Black guy sweeping the floor is given the idea to become major. The word play between the manager and the Black guy to me is just brilliant and always brings a smile to my face. #collinscreenwriting

The Battle of Helms Deep is a cinematic marvel. Being filmed mostly at night it is still filled with contrast of light and dark with its successes of both sides. Then when all hope is lost the climactic triumph occurs through the best scene ever in film.#collinvideoproduction

The Battle of Helms Deep in LOTR is the best fight sequence ever and heres way. In short It has a fully realized narrative structure that parallels that of a traditional story arc. Essentially making this battle a movie within a movie. Thought continued> #collinvideoproduction

Kung Pow! Enter the Fist" to me is an absolutely genius film. Writer/Directer Steve Oedekerk has re-dubbed as well as added a few new scenes to the classic Hong Kong flick "Savage killers". Which results in a ridiculously funny laugh out loud kung fu spoof.#collinvideoproduction

Despite overly harsh criticism i believe "Justice league" is a fairly decent Super hero team up movie. Yes it does have its flaws but, so does the first "Avengers" Movie. Which leads me to question if JL came out before Avengers would the tables be turned. #collinvideoproduction

Citizen kane is praised to be the greatest movie ever and I honestly cant see why. It has a bland and over used plot, terrible messages and a selfish protagonist whose motives you are never able to get behind. If you are a film lover, skip this Trash. #collinvideoproduction

Casablanca is considered to be one of the greatest films of all time and rightfully so. Nearly every aspect of the film is absolutely perfect. From the Acting to the plot to the many beautiful hidden themes. Like the great theme of Self Sacrifice. #collinvideoproduction

The movie John Wick does action so well. Instead of using close-ups and cutting to a different shot every 2 seconds. John Wick stays at a long shot giving the audience a full view of whats happening and making the fight scene like watching poetry in motion. #collinvideoproduction

My favorite Hitchcock film is Notorious. It has a thrilling plot and is filled with amazing performances by Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman and Claude Rains. The last 5 minutes of this film I can honestly say is the most suspenseful scene I've ever seen. #collinvideoproduction

Vertigo is quite a freaky a movie being full of twist and turns and just when you think you've figured out the Mystery. The movie turns you on your head again and again. After the shocking cliff hanger at the end I yelled "What the F!!" #collinvideoproduction

My All time favorite film has always been Lord of the Rings. My favorite I have to go with Two Towers. It has some of the most memorable scenes in the trilogy, has one of the greatest fight scenes ever and tells an unbelievable story about Hope at the end. #collinvideoproduction
