Day 1 of #SaveMassEffect till it's saved.
When I first heard this in 2007, I set the controller down... and listened to it loop: just standing on the Normandy bridge.

#MassEffectIsAlive
Romain Toutain revealed more about Mass Effect 5/Universe (this one really stings):
✨"The Shepard" was customizable and could do same moves in real combat as trailer
✨Everything in game was "stateful"
✨All choices from 1-3 taken into account
✨Called Universe so you could plug your saves together to create parallel universes (simplified explanation) but you could almost generate timelines similar to Zero Time
✨You could make decisions that might contradict things you've already done and so it would create plot "points" in the timeline
✨Missions didn't fail because you killed someone, paths would remain open (it worked well)
✨Absolute autonomy was the cornerstone of the game
✨No two players would experience the same thing, would have "experienced the same story but differently"
✨"EA never sells anything. they just shut things down and sit on their licenses"
✨Barman was a new race
✨Lore was incredible around new mass relays
✨"Billy" the hand thing might have generated tentacles
✨Was an idea for sharing your saves
✨He says it was fucking amazing
it was an absolute banger and we would have loved it. The people at BioWare were brilliant
FUCK

@Frozair@remedygames@ControlRemedy Oh ive been a Remedy head since Max Payne it just always baffles me how they always make switching genres look so...effortless.
There's two kinds of people on the internet: those talking about their shared love and passion for Mass Effect and truly miserable people who have not a shred of passion inside them constantly berrating people.
So glad I love and feel the pain of Mass Effect.
“why are you so upset about mass effect, it’s just a game” for starters it’s a beloved series that got cancelled midway through their next game development, 400 people lost their jobs in a dead market, and oh right corpos destroying art is one of the calling cards of fascism
