Check out @NedJohnsonโs video! Great brain-based explanation for those caught up in over-prompting their children or students of any age! #TikTok https://t.co/NrlSnr5ndt
We need to trust the research & replace long, synchronous classroom calls with a more developmentally appropriate, research-based approach to remote learning: asynchronous, project-based instruction. https://t.co/eVoszO23kJ
Tip for keeping your children safe during back-to-school:
Practice becomes a habit
Donโt wait for re-entering school to teach them essential skills. While home, have them wash their hands when they touch their face, sneeze, or cough. Help make fun reminders or visual cues.
Today, I met my daughterโs tchr during tech pick up. I told her she was doing a great job. I couldnโt see most of her face bc of her mask, but her sigh was audible & I saw her shoulders relax as she thanked me. Tchrs are working so hard! Remember to thank them. #telltheteacher
