Recently our Communications Coordinator Brandyn Spengler was awarded as our Employee of the Quarter for 2023 Q4. Brandyn has been a full-time dispatcher for the department since August of 2011 and was promoted to Communications Coordinator in January 2022
Recently, Adam Bandy was recognized as the @SpeedwayPD Officer of the Quarter for 2023 Q3. A plaque recognizing his accomplishment was donated by Indiana Memorial Funeral Care and presented by Chief Upchurch. Thank you for your service and congratulations on this accomplishment.

Congratulations Officer Carter Pell for graduating the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy this evening. Officer Pell will return to patrol duties next week in the Town of Speedway.
Today, @SpeedwayPD recognized Code Enforcement Officer Joe Kramer for completing 10 years of service in the Code Enforcement Division for the Town of Speedway. Earlier this year, Kramer completed 42 years of total service for the Town. Congratulations on your achievement Joe!
This morning, Sherry Wuertley was recognized as the Speedway PD Employee of the Quarter for 2023 Q2. A plaque and gift card donated by Indiana Memorial Funeral Care were presented to Wuertley.
