@SkyxSimone @gracecamille_ It did as recently as the early 2000s. For a long time it was a cover for closeted people to get access to services in LGBTQ spaces. It’s shifted in the last 10-15 years. Sadly a lot of people don’t know this and will outright attack you if you’re not aware of that shift.

@UmbranFeline @LilySimpson1312 It did, for a long time. It doesn’t anymore, but for decades it was how closeted people were able to openly be part of the community without outing themselves. Anyone who’s been around for a long time might not know that it’s changed and should be educated not mocked.

@nephilistine @LilySimpson1312 That’s very true NOW. It’s important to remember though that as recently as a couple decades ago that’s EXACTLY what the A stood for, largely so queer people could get services without outing themselves. Some genuine allies don’t know that’s changed.

@hopelesssprings @SpicyEncounters Incorrect. My frame of reference is the literally hundreds of RPGs I have played since I got into the hobby in 1992. Everything from the super rules heavy AD&D2 to PbtA games to Amber diceless to Nobilis to Toon. You’re just plain wrong if you think PF2 is complex.
