Spent the past two weeks at @NREL to work alongside some collaborators. Highlight of the trip? Seeing ON LOCATION IN THE FLESH (in the print?) the NREL efficiency chart that makes it into almost every solar cell presentation. Legendary figure!
Wrapped up a successful research exchange in Prof. Stingelin’s lab @StingelinGroup at @GeorgiaTech last week! Learned all about polymer processing and why wirebar coating films is the best 😋. Thank you @StingelinN@henry_kantrow and Andrew Setley for being such gracious hosts!
That’s a wrap! Talk at @Fpi15conf is over! Missed it? Find me at the conference, I’m here till Wednesday! I’d be happy to talk #SECCM and potential (no pun intended!) collaborations 😊
Are YOU at @Fpi15conf and interested in the intersection between polymers and electrochemistry? Come to my talk! I’ll be discussing how we can begin using #SECCM to correlate polymer microstructure with charge transfer rates to enable functional polymer electrodes 😎 #FPi15
Had fun volunteering at the Esperanza Elementary School’s Math & Science Night yesterday with @Biochem_Chem@UA_PAWS 😊 We demonstrated how cabbage juice can be used as a pH indicator. Just pretend I’m wearing the right shirt…
At the 12th annual Arizona Student Energy Conference at @ASU! Incredible presentation from Hon. Shalanda Baker, Director of the Office of Economic Impact and Diversity @ENERGY, about Energy Justice in America. Thought provoking stuff
Are you a US grad student working on solution-processable/printable electronics? Do you want to share your research and expand your network? @ERatcliff_UA and I are hosting a “Rising Stars in Printable Electronics Showcase” @uarizona, sponsored by @USNavyResearch. Apply today!
Congratulations to Dr. Zhiting Chen for successfully defending her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. Her research features the development of color impedance spectroscopy of conducting polymers for solar fuels, funded by @doescience Way to go Z!
