The Rolling Stones have officially announced their new album, Foreign Tongues, due out on July 10th via Capitol Records.
The 14-track LP features guest appearances from Paul McCartney, The Cure’s Robert Smith, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Steve Winwood.
Adam Scott says his biggest concert regret was not seeing Nirvana and Dinosaur Jr play a show in his hometown of Santa Cruz in 1991.
"In '91, me and my friends were going all the time to The Catalyst in Santa Cruz to do all-ages shows to see Henry Rollins and all these bands. And Dinosaur Jr. was playing with Nirvana opening.
"And I was a senior in high school and I just decided at the last minute I wasn't gonna go. All my friends went and saw Nirvana and Dinosaur Jr., maybe it was like six months before Nevermind came out.
"I remember them being like, 'Dude, this band Nirvana is really good.' Yeah. And turns out they were right."
