@ddeanetheology Fascinating. To thicken the plot (and oversimplify somewhat): Barth resists attributing beatitude to Jesus. There is “no deep, inner, secret recess in which He is alone in Himself or with God, existing in stoical calm or mystic rapture apart from His fellows…” (CD III/2, 211)
Does anyone know of comparisons/contrasts between Schleiermacher’s conception of God-consciousness and Thomas’ understanding of the incarnate Son’s beatific vision?

Saddened by the death of Lois Wilson—former @UnitedChurchCda Moderator, president of @Oikoumene, Canadian Senator, lifelong champion for justice, and faithful minister of the Church of God.
She’s numbered among the saints forever.

Is this how you have trained and prepared your staff, @TTChelps?
@BravoDavenport
