I'm devastated for the family and friends of Jason Arday.

He faced an unacceptable public hounding and campaign of abuse. I know many Londoners will be angry and upset this evening.

Jason Arday was the victim of a pernicious public shaming that other people in his position simply wouldn’t have faced.

His death was a tragedy, but once again it should be a wake up call for all of us.

@EDPractitioner Friend went to her follow up appt today after her gall bladder was removed 4 weeks ago. Person she saw could not answer any of her questions. She is in pain & feeling unwell. She was speaking to a physician assistant who told her she couldn’t help and to make an appt with her gp!

With HCL that has become achievable, but TITR would mean me constantly thinking about my diabetes. I very rarely worry about night time hypos now. There is so much more to diabetes than carbs and insulin!

@parthaskar @NHSEngland Would love to have you leading diabetes forever, but obviously not good for you, but very good for us 💙 But I’m sure there are other causes you will champion with equal enthusiasm and forge a way ahead.
