@DeanTTraining 2 weeks into upper lower 4x a week, 3 zone 2 sessions a week. Really hoping to see a difference in 10 weeks. Feel like I’ve been spinning my tires for months now on physique. Strength has gone up for everything except bench since I cut from mid April to end of May.
@DeanTTraining Understood, I’m using the previous upper lower that you stated usually takes around 90 mins per lift which I’ve found to be accurate. I’m anywhere from 1:15-1:30 with these workouts.
@DeanTTraining Jeff Nippard did lateral raises every workout for 365 days and said he saw great results. I know you like to be on the lower side of volume but just curious about this since I feel I’ve built up my shoulders from more frequent volume. Thanks
@DeanTTraining Dean, one of the muscles that I’m hitting with much less frequency on the upper lower split are my side delts. Do you think adding 3 sets of side laterals on the leg days or zone 2 days would hurt?
A week and a half into this so far, feeling much more recovered for each body part going into the next day hitting that body part. Lifts are taking longer, about 90 minutes each. I worry some specific muscle groups aren’t getting as much volume but it’s still early and the recovery has been great so far.
