I want to talk about playing #boardgames with #MECFS, or other disease limiting a persons ability to sit at a table for a long time. @isotriajayne cannot leave her bed/recliner/supported position to play games for very long so we've had to adapt.... thread:

Looked at the @bgg @Gen_Con preview last night. So many good games we wish we could demo at #gencononline. @25thCG we are so excited for Fika, and eying agueda. If you demo them online, we would certainly buy if we liked them. We aren't alone in this. #makegamingaccessible.

#Gencon online schedule is out and there are 46 #boardgames out of 678 events. Some other good stuff but really disappointed that more publishers aren't participating. How hard would it be to find volunteers to lead some games at @gen_con online. #makeboardgamesaccessible

There is still time to create an #boardgame event for #gencononline so publishers like @RestorationGame and @thunderworksgam please consider having staff or volunteers lead some events. For disabled &homebound gamers its critical @gen_con #makegamingaccessible

A smart strategy for online game sellers like @CoolStuffInc @TheMiniMarket & @GameNerdzcom would be to host some plays at #Gencononline. We buy games online so we can shop together since Jayne is disabled & homebound. we WILL buy games we demo & like at @gen_con online
