1) Top precedence, the parentheses: (2 + 2) = 4
now it’s 8 ÷ 4 x 4
2) Since multiplication and division have the same precedence, just left to right:
8 ÷ 2 = 4, Then that 4 x 4 = 16

If you don't understand this, please take Basic Mathematics again.
