You can be Holier than the next guy.
The ONLY THING that is equal in the Faith is the "gender neutrality/spiritual equality" in sonship adoption, everything else is on hierarchy.
Not even the Apostles were equal.
@kurdorPeter To be holy means to be set apart. It is God that sets you apart. Your 'holiness' is a response to the setting apart done by God. You can't be more holy than the next guy. You can however walk in consecration and walk in what God has done.
Gospel Evangelism.
You must live a life of preaching the Gospel everyday.
There's no other activity(prayer, fasting, srudy, reading, meditation, tongues, prophecy etc) that does not fall back to preaching of the Gospel.
Does this knowledge give you salvation or take you to the Kingdom?
When will you people even understand the times you're in?
The church is being perfected/ prepared to be received by the groom, you people are still here talking about how to buy asoebi in the market.
Rigourous studying? Wetin you dey study?
The person that will teach you the Word of God does not even need the "rigourous studying" because the understanding and interpretation of the Word comes from having revelational knowledge of the Spirit's mind.
@FavourYusuf1 "...plainness of scripture."
Sometimes we create problems for ourselves with the choice of words we use.
What do you mean by plainness of scripture though? 🤔
Don't you know that if it were THAT plain, it wouldn't require one to put in the work of rigorous studying it?
2 Corinthians 2:1-16.
Any answer you need, Apostle Paul has given it to you there.
Don't let these people bamboozle you with grammar, the Gospel is a mystery yet has been revealed to the men God put in charge of his church to teach & explain it to the understanding of children.
Me I don't have much skin in the game, but if your gospel requires that a believer has to have the equivalent of a master's degree in theology to understand your...."gospel".
Something is wrong somewhere.
Theology is great and scholarship is a precious gift, but I personally believe that any truth of the gospel that must be communicated to believers must be simple enough that it can be discussed, explained, and either accepted or debunked by the plainness of scripture.
But then again, maybe I'm not just a good theologian sha.

@Adhekunbi Yes. This is where people miss it when they claim salvation cannot be lost.
On the other hand, He does not concern Himself with material acquisition His Grace gave mankind.
He is interested in the Spirit and Gift/talent that He gives man. This is the one He takes back.
@KingTaiwo_@BrotherPossible@Odun_Naike The ones that tasted the heavenly gifts and made partakers with the Holy Ghost and later fell away, were they predestined?
Sacraments are not any means of Grace.
Grace exists on its own, by the Father and from the Father in Jesus. It is not attached to anything made with hands.
Me: Sacraments are very important real means of grace
Christians on X in response: Only Jesus saves bro
Yeah no one said Jesus doesn’t save. Is this where modern evangelicalism nowadays? Yeesh
