Apply for as many jobs as you can. Target roles that are above your qualification. Go to the interviews that scare you. You will gain so much confidence from that experiece that you'll naturally become a better candidate. This is one of the things that job hunting taught me.
To say they played an “instrumental role” is to say without them, the ultimate fate of Black Americans would have been profoundly different and that is incorrect. To those who joined us when they came here, good on them. But no Caribbean came here and did anything Black Americans weren’t already doing, they simply joined already ongoing Black American efforts, and had Black American colleagues, partners, and support. That’s helpful and welcome, but not “instrumental”. We would have been fine on our own.
I think the greater issue is them not understanding what disrespect is tbh! KC didn’t really disrespect anyone, but he did hurt Aniya’s feelings and make her feel embarrassed.
Sincere is quite literally disrespecting Melanie but they aren’t seeing it that way and it’s causing them to foolishly root for the connection. He doesn’t truly cherish her which is why he acts how he does!
It’s so interesting that Janet’s influence and legacy was so violently scrubbed from the face of the earth by the industry… that people now actively would debate this.
Pre 2004… this was not a debate.
India is right. you nggas don't want to be free. The crakas watched how hip-hop created generational wealth for some blks and said not on our watch. They have dismantled the art form piece by piece and you nggas helped and let them. Went from intelligent spitters to illiterates
And unlike a lot of women, I’m not someone who thinks you being crazy or emotionally volatile makes you “strong.” That’s why her jumping in kc’s face didn’t move me. She looks pathetic
Whether you agree with how he did it or not, KC has literally done the Love Island experience the way it’s intended to be done. Make connections, explore other connections, and ultimately find the person you want to experience life with outside of the villa. Will feelings get hurt in the process? Of course. That’s just the nature of the best on a reality tv dating show.
That being said, KC hasn’t done anything on this show that warrants the constant yelling, name calling, dog piling and nastiness from those girls in the villa. Girls who aren’t even coupled up with him nor have explored him. They looked absolutely crazy doing all that hooting and hollering. And for what? He already apologized and he’s still happy in his new connection. This is crazy.

I wish KC was as disrespectful as yall try to paint him out to be because the constant insults hurled his direction is too much for any person. It’s disgusting to watch honestly.
I been annoyed with aniya from jump. She worked my nerves always running behind Melanie and homegirling herself in the earlier episodes… now when she finally got her own arc it was the most embarrassing thing I ever laid eyes on
Love Island is showing me how mentally ill and emotionally weak a lot of women are. Take your L and move on. All this screaming yelling and name calling shit is exactly why yall be having miserable love lives.
Y’all will never convince me that KC did anything so heinous to any girl in that villa to be called out his name, yelled at, stood over, or dog piled ✌🏽

The OG girls are so lame…. Pack these hoes up NEOW. I’m not rooting for nobody and this season is over for me. The double standard is so crazy. #LoveIslandUSA
