Should the Warriors bring back Andrew Wiggins?

Jonathan Kuminga is finally trade-eligible, but the league reaction has been quiet. No bidding war. Mostly lowball offers built around late picks and filler, and Golden State clearly isn’t interested in that. Miami Heat have been one of the few teams linked to real interest in JK.

That’s why this move actually makes sense: Kuminga for Andrew Wiggins.

The money works cleanly, and more importantly, the fit is already proven. Wiggins knows this system. He was a key piece of the title run, defended elite wings, thrived next to Stephen Curry, cut at the right moments, and knocked down open shots without needing the ball. Steve Kerr trusts him, the locker room chemistry was there, and there’s no learning curve.

From the Warriors’ side, this is about certainty. You get a proven playoff wing who fits the culture, stabilizes the rotation, and helps you win now without development questions or distractions.

For the Heat, Kuminga brings youth and athletic upside, a piece that fits alongside Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro if they want more explosiveness moving forward.

It’s not flashy. It won’t break the internet. But for a team trying to contend, it’s smart, clean, and practical.
