@ThatNgonGuy @RelativRyan I absolutely agree. It's definitely a remnant of a bygone era of modelling that's not really relevant anymore. I can at least see the idea behind it from a historic point of view, especially with older software limitations.

@RelativRyan @ThatNgonGuy Most educators don't understand *why* we tell beginners to only use quads. Quad only is like training wheels. It forces students to properly learn topology flow, how topology affects shading etc. It also makes it harder to mess up with modeling tools like loop cuts and whatnot

@thomasbrushdev As the barrier to entry gets lower, the ceiling gets raised an equal amount. It's really sad the hand-made aspect is being impacted as working with Ai is nowhere near as rewarding. That being said, I somehow doubt the creative aspect will ever be replaced.

@travinhdev This is sick! I also had negative comments about my menu. Some people just cant fathom a menu that breaks from the norm. Everything needs to be dumbed down for the masses. It's why every menu is Netflix now.
