@missmayn There's also a lack of charity overall on those that attack snippets of quotes from the Pope; funnily enough it's often done by people that barely studied Christianity, especially compared to a clergy member like the Pope.
May we pray for the Pope and the rest of the clergy 🙏
@Jolz_Aust@SalesianHeart24 Though that part of afterlife for the wicked exists, the rest of her diary truly is wonderful. Truly shows how Merciful our Lord is, I highly recommend it. It's so good it almost looks to good to be true, only to be remibded that the Lord truly is infinitely good and merciful ❤️
@OrthodoxOrigen Idk why people (online) are this committed to support Origen to the point of calling themselves Origenists; yes, he was truly a brilliant theologian but the Church is clear on some of his teachings being crucially erroneous. "Take out the meat, spit out the bones" imo
@I_amMukhtar If he were truly a plant, he wouldn't make his support for the far right that obvious. Regardless of whether he is one or not, what he espouses is more honest and without taqiyya, tawriya, kitman or any other deceitful islamic manner, unlike the vast majority of du'at
@goingawoll At best one could appreciate linguistic, poetic analyses on the Qur'an and by extension the Qur'an in that angle but other that I fail to see how you came to that conclusion: it jumps from topic to topic, often incoherently and lacks narratives that go beyond being superficial
@ZakHu18111965@Farid_0v Right, “whoredom” in prophetic biblical language often refers to idolatry and covenant infidelity instead of physical prostitution , so even regardless of Jezebel being/not being a physical one, it points to the ugliness of spiritual adultery
Lord, have mercy on our shortcomings
@ZakHu18111965@Farid_0v The language of that verse is this strongly shocking precisely because the point is made on people being adulterous in a spiritual sense (same message is throughout the Bible, like in Hosea) and on how ugly the covenant infidelity is
@Jvnior The more I see Jvnior's tweets and debate clips, the more my former muslim conspiratory mind works again thinking he's just a plant to make muslims look bad.
Anima Christi
Soul of Christ, sanctify me,
Body of Christ, save me,
Blood of Christ, inebriate me,
Water from the side of Christ, wash me,
Passion of Christ, strengthen me,
O good Jesus, hear me.
Hide me within your wounds,
keep me close to you,
defend me from the evil enemy,
call me at the hour of my death,
and bid me to come to you,
to praise you with your saints,
forever and ever. Amen.
@__JMJ11@ChristianNbdy 🙏🙏🙏❤️🔥
Truly a wonderful prayer from our Lord
I definitely have to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet regularly again.
Thank you for this tweet brother, may God bless you and preserve you
@ChristianNbdy “When you say this prayer, with a contrite heart and with faith on behalf of a sinner, I will give him the grace of conversion. This is the prayer: O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You.”
-Jesus to St. Faustina
@BRJacobs019Real Nice one, sounds like St Andries Wouters' "Fornicator I always was; heretic I never was."
May the Lord continue to guide and protect us 🙏
@TrevorDavi89171@espinoza_dy Which part doesn't hold? So far I've addressed the matters with Biblical references, they aren't baseless assertions.
Tbh based on your tweet, I doubt you're open to a conversation about the matter.
@Trae_P618@enesovat22 Right, similarly they'll try to dismiss the gospels based on the writing dates. The apostles and their disciples easily could've recalled the gospel story decennia after it took place by the Holy Spirit's grace, as this is of course a massive, life-changing part of their lives.
@enesovat22 They don't want to acknowledge how St Paul got redeemed by our Lord to do good, even with his bad past. Galatians 1:11-24 , 1 Corinthians 15:8-10 , 1 Timothy 1:13-16
(they actually have figures like Umar and Khalid ibn al-Walid too, who were against Muhammad before conversion)
@x9ishere@espinoza_dy Right, the earlier references to Baptism is via normative means but indeed, God is not bound/limited to the sacraments. Still, the normative means are the way to proceed as our Lord had commanded us to do so , even if He could act via other means.
