@FMSynth16@DanFriedman81 Most are fine, but my DS9 dvds were really flimsy. I ended up ripping them to HDD when noticed them cracking in the middle. One has since split in two. I understand it was common with the DS9 box sets. Didn't happen with anything else I own. Even other Star Trek sets.
@chlc3d@DanFriedman81@jla081991@kmkrout Yep. There was even a 16:9 version of the 1995 release of the original Star Wars trilogy on VHS.
There were both 4:3 and 16:9 releases of the Special editions too. The latter might have been 98 rather than 97 (the cinematic release was 97).
@BruceRF1@BlanchardPhD Yes. Not just science fiction either. Look at data analysis and data science. It doesn't necessarily have to mean a spacetime dimension.
@StephenKing The version I knew, it was a rabbit going into a butcher's, asking for either carrots or lettuces (depending on who was telling it). The threat was nailing his ears to the wall.
@mightydudbolt The fridge scene is where Crystal Skulls lost me. I was so furious about that part, nothing that happened after that ever stuck with me. Dial of Destiny is crap, but I enjoyed it slightly more. I'm able to suspend my disbelief for fantasy elements, but not roadrunner stuff.
@BigVhagarFan@mightydudbolt I'm not sure I ever quite enjoyed that sequence, but it definitely stuck with me, and I'll often quote "there's always a bigger fish."
Zack Polanski criticised the police for being heavy handed with a RT and he got a formal rebuke from the police and got grilled by the media.
Farage incites riots and condemns the police causing them of murder and nothing.
Two tier media more like.
@PippyBing I don't think this is a factor at all. It's a symptom of the other factors. People live at home later, mostly because they have no other option. Modern parents allow it because they know there's no realistic alternative.
