Happy 50th birthday Pong! 🥳
First released November 29 in 1972 this might not have been the world’s first video game, BUT it was the first video game with sound. I actually made a small video below to highlight and celebrate this little interest of mine.

@ADarkKnightt 2/2: new and hot games is absolutely a factor, but expect everybody to try that. All at the same time. Everytime.
But what if you focused on games with ”good writing” since you are a writer? Analyze and talk about the writing from your perspective?
That’s different!
@ADarkKnightt 1/2: Unfortunately the camera is what draws a lot of people to Twitch because they want the ”authenticity”.
Some have chosen to do avatars instead but people are what draws audiences. That’s why ”just chatting” has been growing so much.
Tip: find a niche and lean in to it.
Just saw #Michael with my kids and I can’t remember the last time a movie had me bumping my head in rhythm for almost two hours straight while crying happy tears like there is no tomorrow. 😭❤️🙌🏼🔥
Aged a couple of year since I last updated my profile picture. Glad my hat still keeping things together.
And yes. Of course I'm smiling, can't you see?
Have a great weekend! 🥳
@ADarkKnightt@xShephardx@bramble_game Short and beautiful little gem that tells a LOT about Nordic folklore to a point where it gets very creepy and disturbing at the same time as being extremely beautiful highlighting Swedish traditions and songs.
Recommended. 💪🏼
@K__Med Not sure I agree even if I see your point.
I actually think this is just Sony being smart doing their price raises well ahead of GTA VI launching, which will boost sales on hardware and engagement down the line with GTA VI Online.
@KahliefAdams I gave up on that a long time ago when I realized even the outlets didn’t want that type of content. Now I just do that for myself instead. And the few who actually think it’s interesting (nerds, devs, students etc).
Care to share one of your favorite dev interviews you made..?
@DrTobogganOBGYN@KahliefAdams Was just about to say - go blind.
But as someone holding Outer Wilds as my absolute favorite game of all time, Subnautica def. has some of those elements, but is far more into the inventory/crafting sode of things.
You’ll need time. But you’ll come out onnthe other end happier.
In summary:
I really enjoyed the gadgets, the "struggles" of finding liqour for the party, the goals and craved feeling of being the "main character" as a confused teenager.
As an audiovisual experience, it hits where it should and deserves it's praise. Beautiful game.

Played #Mixtape and felt like it was the easiest thing to post about here as a little tease of what I've been playing over the last six months, but let's get to that later.
First - Mixtape. Great little game for anyone who wants to broaden their views on what games are.

With that said - it was the plot between a teenage father, his worries for his daughter, that actually grabbed me the most. Might not be the obvious thing that some take away from this game, but for me it was, being a father of two teenagers myself.
