Dearest mother —
The battleground has called for my glorious return. I’m thrilled to say, I shall heed that call.
I have reenlisted.
While my sidearm is permanently holstered — I shall help train other young men to be great soldiers. Please send care packages of squirrel oil and skunk cakes to our basecamp at Stanford. I love you.

@alfranken I hope someone studies the millions of registered voters who did not vote and the smaller number of people who are eligible to vote but didn’t bother to register. I would really like to know what they were thinking.
@XcelEnergyCO has been unable to read our gas meter since July 2023, in spite of my requests and their broken promises. Perhaps a picture will help them.
Dearest mother —
My beard has been tapered — but not tampered. Thusly, I shall resume my quiet days in my Appalachian cabin, reading to the birds. A basket with spiced beaver thighs and fresh squirrel oil is on the way. T’was lovely to correspond once more. I love you.

Honoured today to be on @BBCRadio4 commenting on #magnets, my favourite topic after #lego. Listen to the curios case of Rutherford and Fry here https://t.co/gWzaffj3CB and get in touch with @BuntingBerkham or @UKMagSoc for more information on magnetics.
In the 117th Congress, we have 144 Members of the House and 50 Senators with law degrees. In contrast we have 1 physicist and 1 chemist, in the House, and 1 geologist in the Senate and 9 engineers (8 in the House and 1 in the Senate) A recipe for building anything?
On December 6, we will begin a 3-day Special Magnetics Bootcamp, along with my friend Reinhold Strnat from Magnet Physics. Hope that you can join us for 1, 2 or all 3 days for this virtual event. Here is a link to register https://t.co/3ybpsl0jBz
This is what happens when so much of the population has weak mathematical skills.
Not everything that can be counted counts.
Not everything that counts can be counted.
Is sometimes attributed to Einstein, but seems to apply here.
Only votes count, the rest is just noise.
CNN owes the entire country an apology for perpetuating a false narrative about Biden's approval rating, for fomenting nonfactual fears about a red wave, and for hosting election-deniers on its platform to spread disinformation in the months and weeks before the Midterm election.
@Caitlyn_Jenner You won the Olympic decathlon in 1976 but you were not ready in 1964. We have a long way to go to get to a better place with our use of energy and our climate. It doesn’t mean that we’ll have no bumps along the way.
@senrobportman in spite of what you said on MTP, recusal is not a right, it is a moral and ethical obligation of anyone serving the public. Please consider this the next time you fly in a plane, ride in any vehicle or seek medical care etc.
