@veggieprice @dasy2k1 @HS2ltd @Andrew_Adonis It's more messed up than you think @dasy2k1 - there is no incentive under @grantshapps DfT @railandroad rail regulation for Train Operating Companies to fill those empty off-peak seats, so rail tickets *never* discount last-minute like airfares do

"Super Off-Peak"!! Totally stupid off-peak pricing because train privatisation has been broken since 90s - there's no incentive for TOCs to fill these half-empty trains. @transportgovuk still needs to fix this.
