@XEQtor@jmhorp@HoagML My house was built in 1949.
I have absolutely no desire to open up a wall, discover asbestos insulation (the original floor tile mastic contains asbestos) and wind up on the hook for abatement.
@LoriB60915177@MacFarlaneNews Yes, it absolutely is a gotcha.
It was a different team playing in a different state. Jack Smith was not in Atlanta on the date in question.
@MaryanneY213@billybinion I'd bet money the Huckabee campaign couldn't find a black actress willing to portray the part of a "welfare queen" in a political ad.
@jmhorp@HoagML My house has 100 amp service with only 4 circuits.
I would have to to replace my fuse box and run a new circuit to an exterior outlet near my driveway.
@MattWalshBlog@XakOfAllTrades >Black women aren't voting Republican no matter what
You are *SO CLOSE* to understanding why they [had to] cast a white dude for this ad.
@ChiliRangReal >Oh no! The wage slave with no health insurance rolled their eyes at me when I bought something from their store! How will I ever recover from this?
@ChiliRangReal Why the fuck should I give a shit if some pleb working at Walmart doesn't like me?
They work at Walmart. Of course they're going to be miserable about everything. That is not my problem.
@grumpy6165@GingerrBarclay@RollingStone I mean, late at night, my local NPR station rebroadcasts the BBC World Service. It's not exactly something I actively sought out but thanks.
@direct_instrctn@PAHoyeck Don't put an improper noun before proper nouns in a series.
"I dedicate this book to God, Ayn Rand and my parents."
Problem solved.

@GingerrBarclay@RollingStone Which of the two radio stations that I said I listen to would you expect to play pop country song?
The NPR/BBC news station or the alternative rock station? ๐คจ
@pdxer25 No, I am not even remotely curious.
16 years of being forced to listen to nothing but country in the car as a child was enough for me. Once I was old enough to develop my own tastes, drive my own car and buy my own music, I never looked back.
