Weak remixes, some awful originals, they completely lack the presense or tone setting of previous game. Also some weird choices. Like when trevor sacrifices himself for rose the game just. Doesnt play his theme. It plays vampire killer. Okay.

I just beat talos in the new castlevania. My biggest issue is that combat is hollow. The lack of contact damage, having a homing attack and an invincible parry means you can just shred mindlessly into everything. Its dull. Bosses suck so far and are really easy because of this

This games writing is not good and very grating. Rose i think especially gets the worst of it. Not a strong character imo. It also diddles the lore with the leon stuff, and the game just mentioned brauner which makes me worried what theyll do to him. Also this games music BLOWS
