The camera zoomed in on the survivors. Image hanging out a window, 100 stories off the ground w/a fire behind u. I yelled 2 my husband “Can’t a helicopter w/ a basket get them!!” He said a helicopter couldn’t get close enough. “What then, there’s got to be another way!” Al Qaeda didn’t just murder these people, Americans trying to do their jobs, terrorists tortured them to death. In the survivors’ last 30 mins on earth they had to CHOOSE whether to die by fire, or jump 100 stories to their death. Which is the quickest death? When @ZohranKMamdani says “3,000, died & I mourn all the people who died in wars afterward,” I’m infuriated. These Americans didn’t just “die,” they were tortured to death. & there would have been “no wars after” if not 4 Al Qaeda’s actions. I’m still mad Zohran choose #RamziKassem (lawyer of the WTC plotter!) as city’s top legal advisor. So disrespectful. @NYCCouncil@NYDSA@MicahLasher@RitchieTorres@DarializaforNY@claireforny@RepJeffries@RepTenney@lawler4ny@Grace4NY
It's been 25 years since 9/11 and all I have of my mother is this urn full of ashes from Ground Zero which were given to the families. They have not been able to identify a single one of her remains and they probably never will! Yet idiots in New York City thought it was a great idea to vote for Mamdani so they could ride the bus for free!
@viking_boer I’d gladly take 100,000 South Africans into this country other than 1 single third world immigrant. You guys will absolutely make this country great. 😊
Some of the youngest victims of 9/11 were kids on Flight 77 on their way to a National Geographic marine biology field trip in California.
Asia Cottom, 11, had been selected by National Geographic for an essay she'd written. She boarded Flight 77 along with fellow students Rodney Dickens and Bernard C. Brown and teachers Sara Clark and Hilda Taylor, all seen here at the gate just before boarding on 9/11.
Zoe and Dana Falkenberg, ages 8 and 3, were also on the flight traveling with their parents.
Asia Cottom had stayed up late the night before, excited to get to swim with the dolphins in California. She told her mom she'd just sleep on the plane.
Hijackers Hani Hanjour, Nawaf al-Hazmi, Salem al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Majed Moqed would've seen all of these kids as they waited to board. They probably saw the National Geographic kids pose for this photo.
They didn't care. They m*rdered them along with 45 other passengers and 125 on the ground when they flew Flight 77 into the Pentagon.
🚨This footage was captured from WNBC-TV Chopper 4. Videographer: April Amonica Video shows Flight 175 hitting the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
United Airlines Flight 175 was the second plane hijacked on September 11, 2001, and it crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
The aircraft, a Boeing 767, struck the building between the 77th and 85th floors. The impact caused the South Tower to collapse 56 minutes later at 9:59 a.m. United Airlines Flight 175 carried 65 people on September 11, 2001, including 56 passengers (five of whom were hijackers) and nine crew members.
Among the passengers, there were 50 Americans, as well as individuals from Germany, the UK, Iran, Israel, Indonesia, Ireland, and Canada. All passengers and crew died when the plane was deliberately crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center. #neverforget
