PSA FOR THE RUNES/ORDINALS/FRACTAL/OP_CAT ECOSYSTEMS

I've identified what I believe to be a network of scams targeting the Bitcoin ecosystem run by @BORDcbrc20 that have been going on for months involving impersonation of popular projects/companies, fake giveaways, and scam airdrop links that may drain your wallet

Prior to Runes launching @magicrunesbtc was created which did fake giveaways and directed users to impersonation websites for pre-runes airdrops

Shortly after Runes went live this @ZZZZZFEHUZZZZZ account popped up impersonating the real FEHU project and it was used to drive attention toward other Runes mints that were likely run by this scammer

After Isabel coined the term "Programmable Runes" in early July these two accounts popped up @programrunes @ProtoRunes which tried to leverage the confusion around Programmable Runes to, you guessed it, post fake airdrop links and run fake giveaways

The connection between these 5 accounts is pretty obvious given that they have all been reposting each other for months

They now seem to have turned their attention toward running OP_CAT and Fractal airdrop scams using the same template and will likely continue to pivot into new areas and trends in the Bitcoin ecosystem

They uses tactics like copy pasting popular posts that others wrote, posting about legit projects occasionally to blend in, and piggybacking onto buzzwords and hype trends

Over 250 accounts that I follow are followers of at least one of the 5 accounts which means they have successfully built up enough social credibility to fly under most people's radar

If you would like to help stop this:

1. Repost so that others will see
2. Block and report all 5 accounts
3. Stay vigilant going forward as the scammer will likely just spin up new accounts and run the same tactics but on different trends/projects that are unaware
