Earlier this year, we welcomed Emma McBride to support @SMN_Scotland work as part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership between ourselves and @EdinburghNapier, supported by Innovate UK, that will develop our work through occupational therapy.

Celebrating the people who bring Sporting Memories to life! 🫶
Today marks the first #SportingMemoriesDay and 15 years since the organisation was established.
At yesterday’s @SportsMemNet session, we welcomed Tony Hesketh to Deepdale as our guest speaker. A familiar face across Preston’s football community, Tony spent around a decade managing Fulwood Amateurs and now serves as the club’s chairman. ⚽️
Sporting Memories brings people together through a love of sport while creating opportunities to enjoy a conversation, revisit favourite sporting moments and a sense of togetherness and community.
Thank you to Tony for coming along, and to our members, staff, volunteers and partners for making our weekly sessions possible! 👏
