@marcuschown It's actually worse than that, believe it or not.
The Water Cos. have taken out mortgages against the value of the infrastructure and revenue stream totaling £80B. They put the cash in their own pockets.
Bill payers are expected to repay it forever, as they borrow even more.
Could you ask Dr Evans whether he has read the Royal Statistical Society's report Healthcare Serial Killer or Coincidence?, published on 26 September 2022, just 14 days before Letby's trial began?
The report warned specifically about the statistical hazards of investigating apparent clusters of unexpected deaths among patients. Yet Cheshire Police discontinued their engagement with Professor Jane Hutton after she questioned the investigation's approach and proposed a broader statistical examination.
The Countess of Chester neonatal unit had documented clinical and organisational deficiencies serious enough to contribute to its subsequent downgrading.
What specific methodology did Dr Evans use to distinguish the consequences of these systemic failures from deliberate harm in each case he reviewed?
More particularly, what independent clinical evidence established that deliberate harm had occurred, rather than merely identifying an unexplained deterioration retrospectively associated with a particular nurse?
And given the substantial criticism of the investigation's statistical reasoning by professional statisticians, has Dr Evans reviewed his original conclusions in light of those criticisms, or discussed the methodological concerns with Professor Jane Hutton or Professor Richard Gill?
Finally, what evidence, if presented to him today, would cause Dr Evans to reconsider his conclusion that these infants were deliberately harmed?
@RPattTheSun@channel5_tv The anonymous Countess of Chester Doctor's testimony in the Ch 5 documentary was indeed both extraordinary and compelling. His understandable anonymity was also symptomatic of the continuing climate of fear created by the Lucy Letby witch hunt.
The world is watching you, @ccrcupdate.
Days since the CCRC should have referred Lucy Letby's case to the Court of Appeal: 16
The clock is still ticking.

@andycorneys This seems right enough. There is a webcam.
I was there a couple of decades ago, it was icy.
Perhaps the biggest glacier in the French Alps. Gone. Thing is it's all of them.

@NickBarberX Why didn't you consider that someone could have injected a long acting insulin eg Lantus intramuscularly into the babies?
Would mimic insulin added to fluids.
Lantus is widely available in hospital and community.
@NickBarberX Insulin in solution can stay active for at least 330 hours.
Why did you believe it could only be Letby on the previous shift who put insulin into the fluids? It could have been anyone in the fluids room in the previous 330 hours. How many of these were interviewed?
@NickBarberX 1/ How does Dr Evans justify overturning the findings of the 3 pathologists who carried out postmortems on 6 of the 7 indictment babies? They were there he wasn't.
2/ And - Why did he not report the pathologists to the regulators for incompetence as was surely his duty as a Dr.?
This is important as it highlights how the police can abuse their powers. It happened to me when @cheshirepolice unlawfully took items from my property which were NOT covered by their search warrant.
@LucyLetbyTrials I guess he thinks the purpose of the press is the delivery of propaganda. Information or mis-information directed from authorities towards the public.
The public in his view has no right of reply.
That right of reply may have cost him his job. Will there be further penalties?
