Yesterday, the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya led a members' site visit to Spring Valley Coffee – The Roastery, to witness firsthand the journey behind one of Kenya's finest coffee brands.

The brand has grown over the years, now supplying roasted coffee to tens of wholesale clients, including restaurants, and running its own cafés in Nairobi, plus one in London.

From roasting and grinding to breaking the crust, packaging, and quality control, members saw the full coffee production process up close, and the craftsmanship behind every cup.

It's inspiring to see a Kenyan brand built from the ground up now competing on the global stage, carrying Kenyan coffee excellence from Nairobi to the UK and beyond.

Congratulations, Spring Valley Coffee, for shining Kenya's brand high in international markets.

I joined @springvalleycfe as they celebrated their first anniversary in London, yesterday. For the first time ever, I stood on the other side of the counter. I received my first lessons in being a barista. Because coffee is about #openness: being open to learning from others. It’s about #excellence- a good cup of coffee is an outcome of intentional #investment including in the right people and equipment. It’s about #collaboration and community. This moment was organized in partnership with @britchamken @Farida Abbas.
