Dear brothers and sisters, when challenges in life knock our self-confidence, please remember that disciples of Jesus Christ have access to a different kind of confidence. When we make and keep covenants with God, we can have confidence that is born of the Spirit.
President @NelsonRussellM of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced 15 new temples during the concluding session of the April 2025 general conference.
“We are grateful to the Lord for the acceleration of temple-building in recent years,” said the prophet, who has announced 200 temples since he became president in 2018. “I testify that Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of Israel, leads this, His Church. He is preparing to come again. May we likewise prepare to receive Him.” #GeneralConference

It is not our physical appearance, political views, culture, or ethnicity that brings us together in the Savior’s Church—The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
It is our common objective, our love for God and neighbor, and our commitment to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel that unites us to be “one in Christ” (Galatians 3:28). That is what Christ’s true Church is all about. #GeneralConference
In #GeneralConference, Elder Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said: “[BYU-]Pathway is all about access to education. Completing the courses means access to employment, and access to employment means a better life for families and more opportunities to serve the Lord.”

What does it mean that the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ is “ongoing”?
Through the Prophet Joseph Smith, the Savior laid the foundation for the Restoration of His Church on the earth (see Doctrine and Covenants 1:28–39; 21:1–3; 136:37–38). The ongoing nature of the Restoration means that the Lord, in His infinite goodness, will continue to reveal “many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God” (Articles of Faith 1:9).
Peers, teachers, and media influencers come and go. But a faithful parent can be the most constant, steady influence for good in a child’s life. Consistent, small acts are better than an occasional flood.

As we focus on and honor the sacred covenants we make in the house of the Lord, our thoughts and actions align with the things that matter most—the truths of our Father’s plan of happiness and gratitude for the redeeming role of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Early in the Savior’s mortal ministry, He respectfully responded to an invitation from His mother at a wedding feast in Cana of Galilee. As His ministry was about to conclude, He demonstrated reverence and love for her as He hung on the cross. As each of us learns from and follows His example, we likewise will show love and genuine appreciation for our mothers and for the women who mean so much to us.
