Those who say circumcision is required for salvation (along with faith in Christ), are not trusting 100% in Jesus to save them.
Agree?
THEN those who say water baptism is required for salvation, are ALSO not trusting 100% in what Jesus did on the cross to save them.
The Meaning of "For"
The Greek word eis in Acts 2:38 can mean "because of" rather than "in order to get". Under this interpretation, baptism is an act of obedience following the forgiveness already granted through repentance, similar to taking medicine because one has a headache
ACCORDING TO PSYCHOLOGY, if you always feel like people don't really like you, it's probably not because they don't. It's because you subconsciously filter out the evidence that they do. It is called
HYPERVIGILANCE. Usually, it comes from being bullied, never fully fitting in, or growing up around constant criticism. Your brain learned to look for rejection before connection.

@itst0ru@SpringhouseFilm Restorationism requires the belief that the Church does not exist objectively, and physically, that the church is a group of people who hold in their heads a certain set of facts.
It relies on knowing as gnosis rather than pistis.
"The Lord said to [Ananias], “Get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying, and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him, so that he might regain his sight.”
Ananias went and entered the house. He placed his hands on [Saul] and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road you were traveling, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
[Ananias] came and stood by [Paul] and said, ‘Brother Saul, regain your sight.’
At once something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. [Paul] looked up and saw him.
[Ananias said], ‘And now, why are you delaying? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on his name.’
Then he got up and was baptized."
