🚨 Ryan Giggs on Morgan Rogers reportedly demanding Champions League football before considering a move to Manchester United:
🗣️ “I’ve never really understood that mindset.
If a player truly wants to play for Manchester United, he should want to come because of the badge, the history and the challenge of helping the club get back where it belongs.
You don’t join Manchester United for one competition.
You join because you want to be part of building something special.
It’s not like Morgan Rogers is guaranteed to win the Champions League or score 40 goals just because he’s playing in it.
Football doesn’t work like that.
I actually agree with what Ruben Amorim said about this type of situation.
The club has to be careful about bringing in players whose motivation is tied to a particular competition.
Because what happens when you’re not in that competition?
Does the hunger disappear? Does the freedom to play disappear? Does the commitment drop?
Manchester United need players who want to fight for the club regardless of whether they’re playing in the Champions League, Europa League or nowhere in Europe.
The best players I’ve played with wanted to represent Manchester United because they loved the club and wanted success here.
That mentality is more important than any competition.”

19 years old, double world champion, incredible 👏
Too many people, pricks, having a go at him unnecessarily 😤😤
He’s 19.
Me, my lads at 19, were still naive, so were most of you😒
The lad needs a break, recharge, plan ahead, amazing talent 💙🎯 #Littler
I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had. I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision.
I’ve loved nothing more than putting that shirt on and representing my country over the years.
I wish the players, all the best this summer 🏴
They’ve really shit on this bloke from a great height … no referee will stand by his decision again if called to the screen … it’s poor from Webb who’s overseen a complete & utter shitshow with VAR
This is huge. Please click through and watch the video. And then wonder why Webb has thrown an official under the bus this time when he was very happy to defend that on TV.
It is essentially the same application of the rules.
There are places we pass through in life… and there are places that become part of who we are.
Manchester will forever be my home.
To the city, the club, and every supporter, my sincerest thank you. These past four years have been unforgettable, filled with moments my family and I will carry with us for the rest of our lives. There simply aren’t enough words to describe the happiness and warmth we’ve felt here.
Thank you for every cheer, every memory, and for making us feel at home from the very first day.
Forever a Red Devil ❤️
Things like this aren’t helpful. The game has rules, you can’t just say ‘footballs’ expectation’. Only when the rules are explained specifically rather than feelings can we ever get to a point of a consensus over rules being changed. And it’s really unfair to officials.
Ball bounces off Mbeumo hip to arm. If he was the scorer, no goal. But incident counts as open play so ref entitled to see it as ‘accidental handball’ if he thinks Mbeumo did not deliberately control the ball with his arm.
Manchester United's players have been warned they'll be banned for up to 18 games if they breath air during the remaining fixtures. It's a new rule introduced this week. It will apply to United, but not opponents.
"This is NOT the way Man Utd should play!" ❌️ ⚽️
"The football, I do NOT think it's very good... I think it's very similar to Ole and very similar to Gareth Southgate." 😱
