We have an injury accident at 900 N. Main. A power pole was hit, Springville Power is aware of the problem. Please avoid the area.

Here’s the shaking intensity map for this earthquake. As you can see, the stronger shaking is felt around the magna area and less intense shaking radiates outward.

We are receiving earthquake reports from Logan to Riverton. The strongest shaking seems to have been felt around Salt Lake County.

The power has been knocked out in some areas.

The victim from yesterday shooting has been identified as, Lazaro A. Nieves, 29 years old from Springville. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this time. We will have more information about the case tomorrow.

We are investigating a shooting that occurred near 1600 S. SR-89 at 2:00 AM. The 29 yo victim has passed away. More information will be released as it becomes available.
