in this crazy day, a memo that @keycard_ shell:
- supports bitcoin, including multisigs
- has hardware TRNG generated seeds (with full certification, see links in our past tweets today)
- works with QR enabled wallets: sparrow, specter, nunchuk, bitget, bluewallet, unisat, bitcoin safe, bull bitcoin, cove
- is maximally open source with fully permissive MIT license
- has verifiable firmware
- you can even build your own secure element from source and upload it to your own javacard
@will_whang@daimiya11 1/2 eh, I tend not to rework my CM5 again since it has been reworked multiple times. I would like to do some research before making any move. It seems this issue is an anti-fraud mechanism in the bootloader. Reddit has some discussions about it.
@daimiya11@will_whang I'm getting back to you after I tried to change the resistor. Unfortunately, changing the resistor with a new memory chip still doesn't work. I guess the memory size is programmed in the PROM as a hardcoded value.
@will_whang Please let me know if you managed to upgrade it. I used D9ZCL and failed too. The LED error code shows memory error. But I ported the D9ZCL chip to a CM4 and it worked....
