I think there are far more important things going on now than the desperate need to award the Stanley Cup this season. However, if they are going to play it out it would be nice if the NHL just picked the 2 hub cities who could provide the best TV viewing experience for the fans.

Just watched a rerun of a 2015 @BlueJays game where @BringerOfRain20 hit a walk off homer. I may have also just watched a rerun of the worst Gatorade shower ever by Ben Rivere. He literally missed everybody.

Our old @sgsaints billet boy @Pistol_9Pete was named Collegiate Athlete of the year at the Minnesota Sports award gala. They take college hockey serious down there. This award is a big honor for anybody to win more less a kid from Irma AB. Congrats Parker! Well deserved!

Once again learning the hard way the hardest part of being a billet family for a jr hockey team is when your kid gets unexpectedly traded. It would be easier if they did not become such an important part of your family so fast. Best of luck @RileyBodnarchuk.

I am glad I am not selling tickets for the “Balls” game because I think I would burst out laughing every time one of the old lady’s looked at me from a distance and called me “Balls” to get my attention.

“Volunteering” at the bingo hall today as a requirement for my kids minor hockey. I am a $2 ticket seller. I would love to have a hat or shirt that says I am blessed with bad luck right now.

My 7 year old told me he thinks they should make a fortnite character of me. I have no idea if that is a complement or if he is chirping me.

The kid caught a hawg yesterday. Actually, he caught a few hawgs yesterday. Lots of fun catching and releasing the big ones! Slot size lakes work. #Albertawalleye @ConserveAlberta @ABOutdoorsmen

Being an old tender my self I tried to show my kid how to stand because he wanted to practice getting mini stick shots on his pads. The kid says to me, Dad this isn’t 1988 goalies don’t stand like that anymore. And then the dog stepped in to practice screen shots.

As a billet family for the @sgsaints we are proud of every player that has come through our home. But what @Pistol_9Pete did last night leaves me at a loss for words. Back to back NCAA champs and voted Most Outstanding Player. A true leader and a great kid! Congrats Parker!
