Everyone loves to talk about sales skill
objection handling, tonality, closing technique, fancy word tracks.
But you must match that with mindset and conviction.
Mindset is the train.
Skill is the tracks.
Most people think sales is competitive.
It’s not.
Saturated?
Eh, debatable.
But competitive, not a chance.
If it was, there wouldn't be so many offers lying about OTE.
They do that because they themselves are desperate for a GOOD closer.

Hope is not a strategy.
A common objection handle for why someone should buy... yet the weakest closers do it themselves on the call.
Silly.
And if you don't know the difference between a good closer and a bad one...
Chances are you have some work to do.
Branding is Underrrated.
Make sure you understand the game.
You're not god if you have a high close rate from organic highly bought in leads.
Use it as a lesson for how impactful a great brand is, not to stroke your own ego for sales.

On the contrary, you're not always shit if you can't close cold leads from a terrible brand.
If the brand is non-existent or seems scammy, you could do your best work on a call and still have trouble closing.
I haven't run ads in a decade, and my crusty old ass will still crush each and every one of you.
Why?
Because I can dismantle someone's personality and behavior into a psychological flowchart faster than you can blink.
Any campaign. Any vertical. Any market.
Here's how you should be thinking:

So before you ask “what's this weeks sales tip?!”
Start here:
– Do I believe in what I’m selling?
– Do I believe I can help this person?
– Do I actually care about their outcome?
Because if you don’t...no tactic will save you.

And this is also why caring matters so much.
If you genuinely care…
Your tone will reflect that.
When you care, you don’t sound desperate.
You sound committed.
You’re not chasing a close, you’re fighting for their future.
And that energy TRANSFERS.
