Today is my last day as an active user on this platform.
You can find me on BlueSky or Mastodon, handles are in my profile.
This account will be kept and not deleted so it doesn't fall into the hands of scammers or bots while they roll in the toxic waste that Twitter has become.

#MSIntune
Wild stuff π€―
Microsoft partners with Edgio for Azure CDN. Edgio files for bankruptcy, Akamai buys selected assets, deadline of Jan 15 to migrate everything
So we get 3 days to make changes during holidays...
Why so late when docs updated 4 days ago?

β οΈ Action required by Dec 27
If you are using #MSIntune to deploy PowerShell scripts or Win32 apps, you will need to grant access to the updated endpoints for your location.

This isn't unusual for fabricated support process notifications because they're written for default cases and automation, not specifically rare or new incidents. They need to exist in several languages for several actions etc.
The "prevention" part is quite misleading though.
With the massive disclaimer that I have no insight into operations at @discord_support let me say this: kudos for what seems to be a quick reaction to the account deactivation wave. However, the default messaging of "credentials/token might have leaked, set up MFA" isn't helpful.
Seems like @discord_support is sending out password reset emails now although the reset links to https://t.co/lHpFnopghC are probably overloading their capacity right now. Page won't load.
Also, reminder: use the pwd reset on login pages if you're not sure the mail is legit.
Had a customer today with a 30+ minute "Device Preparation" ESP. Switched Company Portal v2 from All Devices to All Users, down to a couple of minutes @microsoft@IntuneSuppTeam#MSIntune#MVPBuzz
Looks like the wave of @discord account deactivations is mostly limited to users/IP addresses within Germany. At least according to https://t.co/g7zalEPjl2
My best educated guess: DDOS or botting detection went haywire and just banned everyone from (specific?) German ISPs.
Well, @discord_support - getting an account disabled out of the blue, not receiving Support Ticket confirmation emails and sooooooo many posts on the blue place and twitter.
I don't think this is intended? :(
/r/SCCM rejoices!
@JasonSandys has released UI++ for #ConfigMgr task sequences as open source on GitHub: https://t.co/dqHQ9eqtvv
The intent is to allow/find someone to maintain this in the long run.
π¬ Do you administer #Intune or support Intune-managed devices?
Do you know how policy gets delivered to devices, and how the OS handles them?
Check out part 1 of 2 all about the nuance and intricacies of #Windows CSP's!

@jeremymoskowitz@JenMsft We've had a Microsoft support ticket about the RSAT "it takes hours and hours" issue and they closed it with "yeah, we know, this is a know issue with RSAT as optional feature on demand, but there's nothing we (Microsoft) can do about it". π
@outstarwalker Found it "by accident" after 55h π they have the great "only equipped items" view which makes changing enchantments super quick, so why didn't they also show the currently equipped spells in that view and hide it in a filter menu πππ
Hope they patch that soonβ’οΈ
Imma try to keep this brief but quick history lesson... this specific rhetoric is literally how the Nazi party rose to power. I studied abroad in Berlin and learned a lot about the Weimar Republic which I had never even heard of before. They don't teach it here on purpose (1/?)
I ran into a Year 2038 problem today, and only realized it because I knew of the Year 2038 problem.
As I have vented about, we are currently migrating on onprem file servers to Azure NetApp Files. We have landed on "Use NetBackup to restore shares to ANF and then delta."
