COLLINS: Trump said unconditional surrender and raising their missile industry to the ground were things the president said he wanted to do at the beginning of the war. Neither of those happened
SEN. ROGER MARSHALL: Well, listen, I think we went in there with a very clear purpose
The Donald Trump administration appointed Robert Mueller who was Bush’s former FBI chief. Marco Rubio chaired the Senate Intel Committee which confirmed Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.
This is a lie. Measles has a well established mortality and morbidity rate among unvaccinated children. Once measles enters the bloodstream and causes viremia there’s not much to be done other than supportive measures. It’s the antivaccine activists killing America’s children
Jessica: Kellyanne brings up the tax refund, the $375 on average that you got back compared to the $740 that you're going to pay at the pump because of the increase in gas prices. You also said the economy was so terrible under the Biden administration. More jobs were created, GDP growth was better
Donald Trump is over -30 on cost of living. -28 on taxes. Americans actually supported what we were doing with the Ukrainians. 71% after the Russia invasion said we should provide weapons. Today, 69% view the war as important to American interests -- the Russia-Ukraine war, not the war in Iran right now which has over 50% disapproval.
The other important point to that is that President Biden and Kamala Harris actually got congressional approval for the money that they sent to the Ukraine. They didn't just say I'm going to do what I want. They asked people who were elected by us, what do you think about this? It was approved and they were part of a coalition of over 50 countries that sent aid and weapons to the Ukrainians. That's how it's supposed to work.
Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney#Cameroon https://t.co/bKteFZ3iWE
After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.
In this clip, Sec. Hegseth says news graphics are written with “intention,” or an agenda, and he knows this because he used to be in that business. He worked at Fox News.
I’ve spent years, decades, obsessing over the Bush Administration’s Iraq WMD lies, writing about them, debunking them.
I can think of no lie about Iraq WMDs told by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld et al that comes even close to the enormity and absurdity of this lie from Donald Trump.
AOC: He impulsively went in on Venezuela. He impulsively went in on Iran. It led to increased global instability everywhere he goes. And every time he’s done that, it has been consistent with a spike or a revelation in what is happening with the Epstein files. I think that he feels existentially tied to it.
And I actually think that it is one reason that he must be removed from office, because if the Epstein files have such a hold on President Trump and this administration that they are willing to plunge us and risk world war in order to save themselves politically, that is the definition of someone who cannot make objective decisions for the American people.
The single best statement from a Democratic politician that I have seen today - get rid of useless Schumer and just put someone like Gallego in charge of the party in the Senate.
What “imminent threat” to the American people compelled this US attack tonight? Please post facts . I have an open mind. Maybe there are recent developments that I haven’t been tracking. But I’m interested in facts, not opinions.
> Republican gets elected President.
> Cuts benefits for the poor.
> Cuts taxes for the rich.
> Starts a war in the Middle East.
It's crazy how it’s always the same thing every single time.
